By Pastor Kong Rom 6:23 2Cor 5:17 (KJV) Righteousness Gal 4:4 4 truths of righteousness 1. Righteousness removes the remembrance of sins. "Atonement" means "covering" Col 1:13-14 Remit means to send sth far, far away. "Grace" -Gives us what we don't deserve -Rewrites history -Imputes to us a different motive -Imputes nobility to sth ignorable -Gives us strength when we are weak 2. Righteousness is the divine nature that overpowers sin 1 Jn 3:6, 9 2 Cor 5:21 Jesus was made sin with our sinfulness to give us His righteousness. 2 things happened on the cross 1) God declares us Righteous (by Faith) Justified, just as if I've never sinned before 2) We are made new creatures in Christ (by Nature) Rom 6:6 Satan cannot make u sin, God doesn't want us to be sin conscious.
